For about 10 days next May I'll be in Italy with a couple of friends; we haven't begun planning where exactly we want to go, but I'm VERY excited!

Otherwise, I'll owe a friend a trip to the Grand Canyon at some point next year (she just got a job there!), and I'll probably take another US or Canada trip next year too.

But I still have 2 upcoming trips for this year, so I haven't thought much about 2007 yet!

Word, GS! I was going to PM you & the other Pinays on the board for some advice when I make travel plans anyway.

Well it needs to be something really cool. I have one of those "0" birthdays coming up next year and want to celebrate it right! But at this point I have no idea what it will be.

I'm tentatively planning to go to Munich in April/May 2007. Singapore in August to visit my sister and check out her new condo with a stopover in Beijing on the way back to the Yoo Ess.

Let's get my Greenland trip over with first Smile

The options are: Morocco for Eid over the New Year,
Australia/NZ in January, because hubby will take the entire month off. The two are very close together, so I'm concentrating on planning the Australia trip for now. Any tips on cheap flights/diving packages/accommodation offers (besides the obvious websites) are welcome!
To round it off, I'm planning to go to the SciFi worldcon in Japan in August/September. Then there's usually at least one spontaneous shorter trip on the cards, this time probably to Eastern Europe.

Caribbean cruise in Jan for my friends' wedding.

Somewhere else in Feb b/c I have enough United FF miles for a free flight... Maybe Australia (yes, again) for a month or so... Or maybe Thailand... Or Central/South America...

Who wants to go on a trip!?

Hopefully at least Morocco, now that Ryanair fly there Smile

Possibly the Baltic states in the summer, too.

I'm not going anywhere Frown

I think 2007 will be the year for me to get reorganized and finally finish my damn Master's degree (only one semester to go!) I guess I'll have to live vicariously through all of you.

Well, January should find me in the Thailand/Laos/Burma vicinity. Followed by February in southwestern China.

Iran (yes Iran is safe enough *knocks on wood*) in the late spring early summer. Then to London, France and Amsterdam.

I'm going to try to balence an Islamic police state with the London Monopoly game pub crawl...Inshallah Smile
