Slow day at the office and, reading through some of my old posts for a laugh, stumbled on this old thread which made me smile.
When I posted on here the first time I was 24 with eight countries under my belt and just setting off for my first big adventure without my family - three months in SEA on my way to the UK for a year's working holiday.
I'm now 31, can lay claim to having visited 33 countries and am still in the UK, having (sort of) forgotten to move home.
25 countries in seven years doesn't seem too shabby (although I'll always want more!)
How's everyone else getting on?

I started my RTW when I was 27. I'm 31 now. While I was travelling I met my husband and ended up moving to London to be with him. I guess that in some way I'll always be travelling!
Actually, we're having our honeymoon (one year late) this August. We're going to Sri Lanka, my 61st country.

Wow... thread necromancy!
I left the US in 2005 with the plan of staying in New Zealand for a year and then travelling for a year. I stopped off in the Cook Islands on the way to New Zealand, and then never got much past New Zealand. I'm pretty settled here now, with a partner, a house, and a little 1 year old boy.
