Accommodation in Brunei

I'll be staying in Bandar Seri Begawan for four nights in July and I'm having a difficult time finding good info about where to stay. There doesn't seem to be a lot in the way of hostels/budget hotels. I'm looking for something relatively cheap, but I'd be willing to pay more to stay somewhere centrally located. My main goal for being in the city is to get a taste of the culture and see a few sights. Any advice on where to stay and any info about BSB would be appreciated.
