Accommodation in Ovalle

Figure out the best way to get from Central to South America, when you should book your accommodations for Carnaval and local language school recommendations. If it's on South America, it's in this forum.

Accommodation in Ovalle

Hotel Venezia does not exist anymore (there is now a big supermarket on the same spot). Hotel Roxy is somewhat rundown but ok. On check-out we were quoted a much higher price (16000) for the double room than at check-in (12000). Otherwise, there are only two or three more expensive hotels in town.
The Thermas de Socos mentioned in some guidebooks do have a camp site with pool (closed outside the summer holidays), but generally it is purely a mineral water treatment spa: bathtubs rather than Jacuzzis.
