Wow - 800 letters?! Lucky you...

My preference for something like that is a scanned signature and a good printer. :-)

But I know, that looks just so impersonal and is many times unavoidable.

My choice of pen: Pilot Rolling Ball V5 / V7

Sometimes though, they end up leaking, especially after a few airplane trips. They seem to just ooze out the front.

Some of those space pens are supposed to be very durable, but not so inexpensive, and definitely not disposable.

It might be worth your investment to get a good refillable pen if you spend a lot of time writing. Although, then losing it could be a problem, and it might prompt you to get a pocket protector and... on the cycle goes.

Basically what I am saying is that I felt the need to respond and give some rambling of my opinion that barely makes sense to myself instead of just saying "I have no idea."

I don't write much these days so I have no idea about disposable pens. However, I do have a Waterman ball point and a Cross ball point that I got as gifts. They work well enough for me. My handwriting has deteriorated over the years of disuse. Frown

I love the Sanford Uni-ball Onyx Micro (at least that's what the barrel of the pen on my desk says). It's got a really narrow point, which I love. The only drawback is that when I'm addressing envelopes, I have to switch to a ball-point pen so the ink doesn't run in the inevitable rainy walk from wherever I am to the mailbox...

I love the Uni-ball Jetstream Rollerball Pens. They are about twice as expensive as normal, cheap pens, but the ink is great, and my hand doesn't get nearly as tired from using them.

I second the Uniball Vision and Vision Elite.

Liquid ink pens, that lay down nicely. They are about the smoothest I have found. Lots of "Fine" pens on the market feel like you are scratching, or plowing the paper out of the way as you write.

I go through a lot of pens. But these last a long enough for me to wear the paint off them before they quit.
