Hi to anyone who is Ushuaia! I am planning on a trip to southern Argentina in late Jan/early Feb and would love to do a 10-14 day antarctic boat expedition. Since it is so soon, I'm wondering if I can get a deal by booking last minute in Ushuaia. If you are there now, I'd love sone fedback if you are seeing anything around town that looks like tour operators are trying to fill up boats. Advertisements? fliers? signs in the window?
thanks a ton!

Anyone in Ushuaia, Argentina?

I'm not there now, but was last year at this time, and there were some last-minute deals but you have to have some time to play with and spend in Ushuaia (which is great, btw).
One tiny warning: If it's important to you to land on the actual continent a bunch of times, going out in Kodiaks and the like, your boat must have 100 people or fewer on it. Giant boats will have no landings, and medium boats will have some landings, but they will be in stages, so not everyone is out all the time. For some this might not matter, and for others it might be essential, so I thought I'd mention it.
I've never been, and would love to hear about your trip after you take it!
