Asia or Australia in May, June, July or August

Hi,

I'm planning to backpack for 2-3 weeks any time between May to August. Destinations I'm considering are pretty much most of the Southeast Asian countries or Australia or New Zealand. I've visited several countries in Southeast Asia already (as well as Australia), but I'm still looking forward to going back.

I'm pretty active, so I'd like to walk around and explore the area, experience the culture, meet the locals and try new cuisines. If anyone is interested, let me know. I'm open minded, so I'm open to anyone - straight, gay, white, black, green, it's all good.

Hey buddy! Why not Bali? I'm planning to go there myself and escape from all the mundane stuff called work for a week this end of June. I don't wanna book a tour package as I have the feeling that if I do so, I'd be stuck. And where's the fun in that, right??! Like you, I just wanna truly experience and appreciate (hopefully, so no expectations whatsoever) every second that I'm there.
