Hi Y'all

I'm from London and it'll be my first time to Bali and have read so many books and blogs and stuff but I'm still not able to tell where I'll have the best trekking experience in Bali, also, I'll be travelling solo!

I dont want to do a 2 or 3 day thing, I'd like to make the journey within 24 hours, but there are villages everywhere and some Park authorities are described as 'dodgy' in some books. I'm fit and up for a hard slog if necessary. Ideally, I'd like to get some incredible views and try to go with a group, also I have heard that the sunrise trip is overated! Please, I'm so confused....

To anyone out there I'd love to hear how it was for you if you loved it...I plan to go around the 15/16th May 2009....
