Bali to???

I am currently planning on traveling in Bali during the month of September. We want to continue our travels from Bali throughout Asia. We are stumbling over October as it appears to be a rainy month in most places. Can anyone recommend any places to go in October where we wont go too wet all the time? We are from the Pacific Northwest so we can handle rain, but any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated! We are currently thinking of going to Hanoi, Northern Vietnam, in October, but we are not sure if that is the best plan...

How about the Philippines? It's getting less rainy in October though not as dry as Jan-April. October is the end of the typhoon season which runs from June-October. Most of the rain is in July/August. Lovely islands in the Philippines.
