How about this...

Thanks for all your submissions to our Code of Conduct. We are definitely going to use some of these! Please add more if you are really interested in having your travel philosophy become part of the BootsnAll Code of Conduct.
Also, take a look at our old Code of Conduct. Which codes should we keep and which should we get dismiss?
Thanks for all your ideas!

I really like that. Static, where did you find that? Or is it all yours?

Couple of thoughts from many years of travel:
Respect the culture - especially when you don't agree with it
Enjoy the moment, no matter how scary, crazy or cold and wet it is. It may not be fun to be held up at gun point in Phnom Pen or wake up to realise your night bus just skidded off the road in a tropical storm - but you're defintely alive and you'll have incredible memories...

Last call for all input into the new Code of Conduct - and what should be kept with the old Code of Conduct. Years from now, young impressionable travelers will look back on our ancient wisdom and use it to guide them with their travels.

Keep the humour. I don't so much care what it says, so long as I get a good laugh out of reading it.

"Walk down that lonesome road/
All by yourself/
Don't turn your head/
Back over your shoulder/
And only stop to rest yourself/
When the silver moon/
Is shining high...
Above the trees."
---A song I sing to myself when I am on a very dark and empty stretch of roadway.

In preparation for the occasional "maybe you should get a real job" or "maybe you should travel less, save more" type of statements, always have a witty retort at the ready and then cover your ears and run away...
at least that's what works for me
