tsftd or any others, if you make it and want to come we'll try and get you in one way or another. They may still have space on the tour or I may give you my spot and curl up in a pub across the street with a whiskey and a crossword puzzle.

And the cat herding begins!

Anybody else want in? This will be my third call to try and add people. If we want a tour without them poisoning our beer it should probably be the last. I will call Friday after 3 pm Pacific time, so think on it and let me know before then. Hopefully they'll still have space.

If you haven't decided whether or not you're coming to Portland yet (and why wouldn't you!?) and end up coming, feel free to contact me about the tour. There may be people who bail or are willing to forgo their spots for the tour. We will also be visiting several breweries and this is the only one with a formal tour, so there are opportunities to join in the revelry outside of the Widmer tour that require no preplanning.

See you hellions soon! Abzv

And please RSVP to the party as well if you have not already. We need to know how much beer to buy.

Am I the only one questioning the wisdom of a brewery tour the day of the party? I am certainly going to try and do both but.......

You know... I was thinking we did the wine tour on the day of the party two years ago, but we did that the day before, didn't we? Oops. Abzv

I opted for the early tour in order to ensure the inevitably necessary disco nap.

how much is this tour going to be? or is it going to be just what we buy in beer?

The tour of the brewery at Widmer is free, so the costs will include anything you eat and drink, as well as transportation. Assuming we're taking public transportation, it should all be relatively cheap, though if the weather is anything like last year we may rethink that idea.
