As I recall you just loved showing off slumped gangsta low behind the wheel at least until you assaulted that Federal Ranger. Wink

I almost just snorted tea out of my nose. I had forgotten about that. It really isn't a party until a federal officer is assaulted.

And you're welcome D. It wouldn't be a day trip without you.

I plan on hiding out across the street from the brewery while you guys do the touristy thing. But I was wondering if we could go to the Horse Brass too later that day its a straight shot on the belmont bus from the Dragon and it is THE BEST PUB IN PORTLAND, with diffrent guest taps every weekend and over sixty beers on tap. Not to mention the best Bangers in Mash on the West coast and a killer scotch egg! PLEASE.......PRETTY PLEASE!!!!!!! PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE!!!!!!!! Passifier

Hell with a cheery on top even.

Yeah, I considered the Horse Brass, but the problem is time and transportation. I opted for Roots and the Green Dragon since we can easily get there from Widmer and walk in between the two. Plus, they're more Oregon specific.

However, if there's time and people are into it, then by all means, we can give it a go. May also be a good Friday or Sunday option for a beer and darts hangout. Easily accessible from the hostel. If anything else I assure you that BostonBill will need a stop there, and he'll be sticking around for a while.

The Horse Brass?
Well if it is THE BEST PUB IN PORTLAND, it most certainly will be put on the agenda.
Darts? So do they play 301 and Cricket out there in PNW? Smile

Ok thats good enough for me, as for the darts you accidently stick a bartender twice and they no longer allow you to play for insurance reasons, but watching an old pro like Uncle Bill would be awesome.

If there's still room on the Widmer wine tour, Parisgirl is eager to start swirling and spitting (well, maybe more swirling and drinking than spitting).

I am sure we can squeeze you in. If not we can just go shoot darts with Hillbilly at the Horse Brass.

(um, just so you know the Widmer is a brewery Smile )
