We are planning a trip to Hungary later this month, but our flight arrives really late to Budapest and our accommodations are in Heviz. Looks like public transit will be closed by then. I found a company (fox transport) and they charge 93euro for the trip. I'm wondering if anyone has used them before. The rest of the trip we plan to use bus and train, but our arrival is so late that I am hoping to have a good plan when we arrive. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Is it this Heviz? If so, google maps thinks it's 200km away... I'd say €93 is pretty reasonable for a 2+ hour drive.

Hungary is cheap by european standards but it's not SE Asia cheap.

Yep. That is the place. I thought the price seemed pretty good; just wondering if the Company was reputable. Normally we would use public transit, but we arrive really late, near midnight when the bus is not running anymore.

I'm Hungarian and yeah, you're not going to have a better option than that at that hour! Never heard of the company but I'm sure a Google search knows more than I do regarding their reputation.

Domino hostels in Budapest are not first class, but they're a bed. Make a reservation, sleep in the hostel for about 20 euros, and I bet public transport is a lot cheaper than 70 euros.

Yep, hostels in Budapest are cheap, clean, and a lot are located conveniently close to train stations. I'd recommend spending the night in Budapest and taking a train to Heviz in the morning; you'll save a lot of money and get a full night's sleep. :)

What a friend has done: talked at the hotel and they recommended a company which offers transfers. Don't know the price but doubt it was close to 100 eur. [i'll come back with more info]
