Canadian needing a visa to India while in Turkey!

Hello,

I am currently living in Turkey and need a visa for India next month....I am Canadian too . I have read an old post elsewhere that I can go to Ankara and see the Indian Embassy to apply and wait about a week to get the visa.

Any advice or details you can share? Much appreciated!

You can also obtain a visa in Istanbul http://www.cgiistanbul.org/visa_services
If you prepare all the required information and fill out all the required forms then it should take 48 hours but up to 4 days to process. It would be best to call them first to check for latest wait times, changes in procedure etc.
