Just curious, any thoughts on cheap(er) flights to Australia from LAX or JFK? I do have a free round trip ticket on NWA that I have to use before the fall, so i could definitely get somewhere first like LA.
Lets say between the months of May and August (winter there)...
Is that the low season for travel?

If you asre coming to Australia between May and August, then yes, it is low season.
Except if your'e going to Darwin which is the dry season and therefore "high"--average temps. 20- 31 celsius.
Oh and if your'e thinking of going to Mt. Buller, Thredbo or Mt. Donnabuang, that's also high.(snow & skiing).
Have a nice day, Whistler.
