Chiang Mai is a lovely city in N.Thailand.
A lot more affordable than Bangkok and a lot more chilled.
There r lots of things to do in Chiang Mai and one tip is to get on a bus up to Pai, spend a few days there, then motorbike it back to Chiang Mai.
Air Asia and Nok air are 2 discount airlines which do the Bangkok-Chiang Mai route.
