China to Hong kong back into China - VISA query

We are travelling from Hanoi by road into China then Hong Kong an d then a train journey to Shanghai. From a visa point of view will this be entering China twice we are not sure. Any advice would be appreciated.Jean

Yes - you will need a multi or double entry Chinese VISA. Hong Kong is considered a seperate entity from China

I'll be doing the same trip, and require a Double Entry Chinese Visa.

Thanks Angry you are a little gem, just another question could we get the visa in Hanoi. We are travelling in Cambodia, then Vietnam (HCMC to Hanoi) then China.
