hi there, i'm 3 months into my rtw, currently in china. i wish i had of underplanned more... it becomes very expensive if you try to jam in so much like i did... and i had 12 weeks in South East Asia... Singapore-Malaysia-Thailand-Laos-Vietnam-Cambodia-Bangkok. I under-did Laos and Cambodia big time and long to go back there, but my Oneworld ticket has me locked into going through China and then on to Europe. At least I know exactly where I want to re-visit in SEAsia (Siem Reap, Luang Prabang being two of the best). Thailand is unbelievable. Spend as much time there as possible. The region rocks! The people are beautiful... probably the friendliest in the world.
Have fun.
Shane.
