CROATIAN ISLANDS - DIVING

Hello BnA'ers!

I'm headed to Italy/Croatia for three weeks. general plan is to start in rome, go north (cinque terra, florence, venice) then head down to ancona, ferry to Split, and then hit the islands in croatia. Initially looking at VIS and KORCULA. I want to do some diving, girlfriend probably won't.

Anyone have any experience out there? Thoughts on best ways to island hop or other islands that should be visited?
