Hi all... I recently broke down in Singapore and bought a nifty new digital (though I think I just saw it down the street in Bangkok for half price!! ArGH!). Anyway, the viewfinder (not the LCD) is also digital. This past week I tried to shoot sunrise at Angkorwat and it was almost impossible.... b/c though I could see what I wanted to shoot, the camera couldn't pick up much... so i couldnt aim and the shots came out blurry anyway since the camera couldnt pick out anything to focus on.
anybody have any advice on how to shoot w/ digitals in lowlight conditions?
cheers!

Helga,
By their nature, digital will have problems when put to the extremes (low and high levels of light).
You can help this out by some of the following:
- Hold the camera very still or use a tripod.
- Don't direct the camera into the sun or main direction of light.
- For sunsets, you may have better results if you offset the sunset to one side.
Hope this helps
