Does anyone know of a website that lists requirements for different nationalities in different countries?
We've just discovered our family is too big to legally travel in one vehicle in the UK - now we're wondering about other countries too. Is there an easy way to find out?

This may be of some help:

You might run into trouble with having just one car throughout Europe, simply because they don't seem to have many big cars (at least not that I saw). I know we had 8 people in a van in Ireland (family trip), and we stood out for sureSmile.

In most countries an International Driver's License (IDL) and a valid license in your home country will suffice. For New Zealand I don't personally know where you can get an IDL - but just do a Web search.

Some rental companies will not ask for the IDL, but still best to have it as most insurance companies will require it - or may invalidate the insurance coverage, just when you need it most.
