Holds PhD in Packing |
I've read several threads regarding this but not sure I got my answer. I just signed up to take the TESOL course here in San Diego. It is 60 hours in class and then 60 hours online doing a specialized focus, for example, Adults, Children, business, etc...The course isn't cheap but I'm wondering is it really going to make much of a difference? I'd love to go somewhere in china or s. korea so i can make and save a decent amount of cash. Has anyone taken this course here in the states and if so can you give me a little heads up on what to expect. Also curious to see what the job search will be like after the course. They guarantee job placement or a full refund.

at SDSU?
That one is great. I have a friend who took it, then they helped him get a job in Taipei, making like US$35k a year, AND free housing, at one of the top elem schools in taipei. |

The course is not at SDSU, it is through a company called Global TESOL based out of San Diego, i guess they have locations all over the country. The guy who runs this place has taught english all over the world so it seems pretty credible.
