On Tuesdays I have to be in by 4:30 to run a process on our systems before the start of the business day. Today, we were adding a new release for the system so development needed an hour as well on the systems before the start of the day, which is 7:30 at my company. That means I got to get up an extra hour early to give them the time they need.

I was in at 3:30 this morning, only to read an email sent at 7:30 last night saying that they are not doing what they planned and no longer need the extra hour. Maybe a phone call would have been nice last night to let me know I could sleep until 4 instead of 3?!?!?

I have to keep thinking...Only 5 more months until the RTW..

You should hire someone in India to run those early morning processes for you.

AND take off an hour early. Smile

Well didn't stay too late 2PMish which is still a long day for waking up that early. If only I could hire someone in India, but the process is manually importing files into our system (approx 200)which includes typing 200 individual file names and file paths.. not to mention that things tend not to work right..........The person who is in charge of the "system releases" now has a cell phone list and schedule of the people that do the morning processes so that if they decide it is not going to happen that they can call. Courtesy of me of course Smile
