So I love my job yet feel I am surrounded by people who are suffocating me. There are days I feel I have balance then other days where I think my cubicle is going to swallow me whole. Grrr...I feel like my head is going to explode. There are so many things to see and do, to learn and experience. Damn money and its hold on my feeling of security.

Just knuckle down, do your work, not too much work, just enough, and just make sure you're happy with your daily output.

I think Im losing it this week too. Everyone has been overly bitchy lately. Between the passive aggressive remarks, angry energy that certain others put out, hypocrisy, complaining about petty things, never smiling....after awhile it gets you down. Not everyone's like that, but with people being on vacation, I happen to be surrounded by all the NEGATIVE people this week. I wish I could wear friggin earplugs.
But oh well, the brightside, it can only get better..

This is coming from someone who left those very things you're talking about and set her own course, but don't treat your need to make a living like it has you trapped. Money is important, but so much that you waste 5-10years of your life with jerks? There will come a time where you'll know it's time, there'll be no mistaking it. Just make sure you don't put your head in the sand come the time.
