Ok, so since December I've been working a slightly different job - basically a promo from my old position. And since December we have been so busy that I was being worn down day after day - basically nonstop action.

BUT yesterday and today its been slowing down and we got caught up on the queue. Today I was shocked that it was "slow", but my teamlead sent me a message and said "this is how your job should be everyday...and hopefully this is how it'll start being again."

WHAT?! That is awesome! I've been goofing off all day waiting for tickets to pop in my queue. Now I know what it really feels like to a get a promotion - you know getting paid more for less work type of thing. I have more responsibilites but man this beats being stuck on calls all day. Today has been my first taste of what my job typically is and it is great!!!!!! (well the change of pace is great hehe)

I wish that was the case with my job. My boss keeps saying that, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Good for you Brooke. My last promotion took me from working a 16 hour day to an 18 hour day. Although that part of the job only lasts about six weeks out of the year and I have to less physical work and more supervising.

Hove fun dear lady.
