I work in a help desk environment and 1) customers never cease to amaze me, and 2) they complain about anything and everything.

It's monday, our busiest day, and yet people will wait on the line forever just to complain about one itsy bitsy, non-important mispelling on some random site. I mean, honestly, are you trying to avoid work?! Because this really has NO affect on your job duties... You're not dumb... you know what the word should be... yet you decide to clog up our phone lines with this most obscure request that causes me to search for about 30 minutes to find SOMEONE who supports it and can fix the issues. Necessary?! NO! But man, people will complain about anything - just boggles my mind.

Do you think people who do this kind of stuff have control issues? Like, they can't control what's going on with their boss not liking them, or issues at home, so that being able to make this one small itsy bitsy change is actually a glorious moment to them... they have control to do something?

I just can't understand it...

Could be control issues, obsessive compulsiveness, or nolifeitis!
