So I'm sure many of you know that the world bus industry is booming. Many of the newcomers in the past years are based online and work similar to the budget airlines. I was hoping to find a directory of them (like whichbudget.com for cheap airlines) but I didn't. So I am trying to make one. What has materialized so far is cheapbus.wikispaces. There is much to be desired but its a start. It'd be nice to get some feedback and/or ideas on ways to set things up and make this a functional directory

Also, any missing routes or bus companies would be apprciated. For now I am not looking at the big companies (like Greyhound or Eurolines unless they have a special scheme for online discount tickets--a la National Express funfares). There are plenty of areas where I am still working on entering all the routes (Britain and Italy for instance), but if there is not mention of a company I probablly don't know about it.

I think that's an excellent idea! You better buy the website names before someone else snatches it up. I have done some work looking for cheap ground transportation and compiled it on my site. As far as buses, this is a decent list i found online.
