I can't believe our time is up. Nine months in South East Asia and today we fly home.

Thailand, Laos, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia - such an amazing trip.

We've walked with dragons on Komodo, swam with Whale Sharks in the Philippines, trekked to see Orang-utans on Borneo while dodging 2inch long leeches.

We spent 3 weeks living with a hill trip in Thailand, were the only tourists watching a tribal boat race in Nan (a little scary that one).

Come face to face with snakes, spiders, tarsiers, a whole host of monkeys and birds. Met some really amazing people, locals and travellers a like.

And now it's time to go home

I feel sad now writing this, though I'm actually really excited to gο. I know this isn't our last trip, two years saving and we'll be off to North and Latin America.

Plus, we're not going home as such, we're moving to a different city, so we have two weeks staying with friends while we find somewhere new, so the adventure is not quite over.

Just felt the need to share.
