I have a commitment to BC Football. It looks like Sept 15 is a date that works for me. Hopefully that works for others.

As of now, the first and third of the weekends look good. I've got a friend getting married on 09-08-07 though.

Info Sept.9th is the New York Century Bike tour. It hits all the boroughs, and highlights greenstreets and safe cycling routes. For visitors, this is an awesome way to see the city. There are routes from 15 to 100 miles.
Thats the link. I'm not hyping it too much I hope. I volunteer, and just think its an awesome way to visit our city, since most post 9/11 tourists tend to stay in Times Square.

I am heading to NYC likely in both August & September, but I don't know the dates. I'll be in Italy for the September dates you listed, so count me out there... if I happen to hit around that time in August maybe I'll extend my stay.
Okay, so, based on the responses to this post and a few PMs, it looks like September 15th will be the best date for our meetup. We would definately like as many people as possible to show up for this, so if you are hesitant to meet us, don't be, it's always a fun time.
This date gives the out of towners about 2 months to figure out some way beg, cheat, or steal their way to the city and enjoy the company of fellow travellers (and lots and lots of beer)
A location for the main event will be determined a little later, but it is usually a relatively inexpensive bar somewhere in Manhattan.

Bill, you forgot to add one thing.
It's not just (and beer) but rather (and lots and lots of beer)!
