has anyone ever heard of microplace? i went on the website and decided to take a peek it seems like a great idea but i wanted to see if any has had any interactions with them.

I'm not familiar with microplace.

myC4 has a good reputation, and they are set up for worldwide lenders. However, there's a bit of currency risk there, as their accounts are denominated in euro, and lenders take on the currency risk relative to the borrower's currency. If you're not in it for the money, then kiva is the big kid on the block...but you will not recieve interest from them.

Kiva is the only one that I have personal experience with, and have had no problems at all.
