That sounds like fun, although I must admit that I usually don't see "Omaha" and exclamation marks in the same sentence.

For me, I just purchased my tickets from France to Finland, then to Croatia (and Montenegro! And Albania?) for a few weeks then to Israel. Because of all the crazy holidays going on in France right now, my finals were extended across three weeks; my flight for Finland is on Wednesday, and my last exam is on Thursday. Normally this, and the fact that the prof is impossible to get ahold of, would worry me. But I'm soo ready to leave this country. I can't get stressed out for a pointless exam, even if it is going to leave a bad mark on my grades. I'm going to get beached out, then I'm going to go back to LA in the end of June. I think I will cry with joy at the sight of suburbs and hearing people around me speaking English... (for a short while, at least..)

Woo - hoo!! -- I just booked tickets to see Pink Martini in San Diego in September. Double whammy -- concert and plane tickets! Days like this make me feel like such a jet-setter.

Yee-Haw! Yee-Haw! I bought my tix to Paris last week.

The France trip isn't until August, but it's booked and now I can relax. When I don't have airline tickets to my next destination in the bag I'm as jumpy as a terrier until I buy them.

Yikes! Did you miss it on purpose (like change your mind) or what? Is that your rtw gone now or what?
I'm dreading missing my flight to London cause then I'd miss my flight to Brazil. I could afford another one to London but not Brazil!

Thread necromancy. I'm far too excited not to.

I just booked my ticket for a month in Argentina, leaving May fourth, 2008! It's the first international ticket I've ever booked myself, because I've never gone anywhere alone before. I've traveled a fair amount, but always with my family or through a program- now it's time to try a completely different type of experience, just me an' South America, no safety net or tight, pre-arranged itinerary. Time to head out on my own, as a sort of 19-20th birthday present to myself. Can I get a HELL YEAH!?
