Way to go Kristen! Have a great trip.

I'm very excited because I have pretty much everything booked for our summer Israel trip. We arrive in Tel Aviv on my birthday. My son is having his bar mitzvah in Israel on Masada. I am so jazzed. I think I'm more excited than he is. He's jaded on travel because he's 12 and he's already done tons of traveling. But I don't care whether he's excited, I am thrilled, and I feel like dancing!

I bought our tickets the other day - but I'm not sure there's much to YEE HAW about. We will fly from Boise to Salt Lake City to Phoenix to Anchorage to Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay. The entire journey will take 20 hours. We could fly to Europe and back inthat amount of time!!

(I've blogged about why that happened ifyou feel like reading it: http://familyonbikes.org/blog/?p=182#comments)

Yay! I actually booked my ticket (Toronto to London Aug 28; Dublin to Toronto Oct 29) awhile ago, but I'm just discovering this thread to celebrate it!

(Although I DID just book the first hostel I'll be staying in on the trip: a combination 2 nights in a Bath hostel, and a trip to Stonehenge!)

I booked to Portugal/Spain a while ago.

But, tonight, I was able to rebook my flight for a day earlier, and coming home from a more convenient location (originally, I had to go back to London from Spain to get home...now, I am going from Barcelona!). It was so easy, and, the call center was GREAT.

YEE HAW!

Well it has been a busy two weeks! Maryanne and I got engaged in the Maldives, what a lovely place, two weeks ago. Last week we started the last of our series of shots. This week we booked our dive master course in Thailand. And today I got our one-way tickets to Thailand, where we will start our 2 year "honeymoon". I say honeymoon since we wont get married till next year, but the first year we will be looking for the perfect place to tie the knot! Isn't life grand!

June 1, 2008 my sweetheart and I start our trip!

Just booked my ticket for junior year abroad in New Zealand. It's going to be a pretty hellish flight (Burlington-San Francisco-Sydney-Christchurch-Dunedin, leaving June 26th and arriving THREE DAYS LATER on the 29th), but of course I'm incredibly excited anyway!

Not quite a YEEHAW as I'm at work and might get funny looks but I am giving a quiet "yippee!" for having just booked my trip to Barcelona for 2 weeks time.
I've been before but I loved it so much I'm stoked to be going back (esp. with a boy in tow this time; Barca is such a romantic city!)

Just nailed Egypt and Jordan for July. Pyramids, quad biking in the desert, boating down the nile, diving in the red sea, hiking petra & the wadi,.....can't wait!

Using miles required a connection each way, soooo....stopping in London on the way over & Barbados on the way back.
