Would you want to backpack through Narnia or Mordor? Stay at a hostel in Springfield from the Simpsons, or Futurama's New New York? Maybe take hike or bike through Hazzard County?

Planet Coruscant from Star Wars, a planet completely encased in one huge mega city.

The epicenter of galactic core planets, it contains the galactic archives, imperial palace and jedi temples.

You couldn't imagine the epic adventures you could have in such an amazing location!!

Absolutely Magnificent!

Which interpretation of the Factory? The book? The Gene Wilder flick? Or the Johnny Depp flick?

I would try and steal an Oompah Loompah. They can clean up my house.

I would really like to spend some time on Kim Stanley Robinson's terraformed Mars and get a chance to hike up Mons Olympus -- the biggest mountain in the solar sytem.

Cracking Up
Do you mind if I quote you on that one?

Just went through the list of my favorite books - and it's funny, few of them contain fictional places. I guess, my favorite experience with a book is the human cause. Ah well...

I'd like to spend a week as Josef K. in whatever the place is Kafka woke him up to be arrested. That would spin me out - probably more than and fantasy world as such.

Also, I would like to spend a few days in Les Cerisiers Duerrenmatt's The Physicists

Maybe it's my dark state of mind, but I would love to spend some time in Philip K. Dick's dystopian and deserted San Francisco, as imagined in "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" (a.k.a. Blade Runner). I'd just have to make sure to pack some protection, but what an adventure...

Fantastica from the Neverending Story. I always thought I might make it past the Southern Oracle.

Plus, If I had Falcor as my transportation I could get anywhere in Fantastica in a short period of time.

The "Galaxy" from 'Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy' all the world and all the times. I want to pick up a Bable Fish, my trusty towel, my Guide, stick out my thumb and head to Milli Ways in time to see the universe explode.

To a place where there is no need for money, where politics doesn't exist and where the pace of life is ruled by nature...
Otherwise be able to explore Isaacs Asimov's worlds of Foundation - to have my own spaceship and jump from planet to planet - that would be awesome!

As long as it's possible to avoid that world that's entirely built over and is a continous city of 40 billion or so -- what is the name of that planet? I read the whole Foundation series ages ago and have forgotten most of the details.
