Going to UK/Europe for 3 months, from May-July. Most of the time we'll be in mediterranian countries, but we are doing the uk for two weeks, as well as holland, switzerland, etc. We will be staying in hostels the whole time, but will we need to bring a sleeping bag, or just a slip sheet???? thanks! eek

Hi Sarah

You should be alright in southern europe around the med but i would take one for the uk, if it is too hot you can always sleep on top of it?

all the hostels i've seen in the uk are fully made up or you can pay an extra pound for this, but a bag is always nice to have

should be enough, since hostels will most likely be made up. It'll be summer too, and may still get chilly at night in some places, but then again, hostels usually also have extra blankets, or you could just be sure to have some warm jammies - less bulk than a sleeping bag.
