Hi All..my first message on the forum board...feel like a real virgin. Ha. I'm off to Thailand (southern) beg of May and onto Indonesia (hopefully, eventually India)...Had heard there was a ferry out of Kupang to Darwin that was very cheap (like 60$us) and can NOT find this info anywhere through conventional methods (go figure)...also, I'm NEWW to the world circuit and am thrilled about all the resources everyone is exchanging daily... a true testimony to a global community. I have so many questions, really...I'll be travelling with a friend here and there...but am interested in hooking up with other like mind travellers....it will primarily be a solo trip. I'm a caged bird being set free. deep sigh. Cheers!

You have probibly already left and already know the answer. No Ferry to Darwin from Indonesia. Best you could do is Darwin gets the odd cruise liner from asia like 6 a year, and I have heard of people yachting from Indon to Darwin. Best alternative is to Fly.
