My sister and I are in our 30's and are planning to take a tour to Egypt. However we don't want a typical senior citizen tour which is heavy on shopping. Does anyone know of a tour company that might have tours for more active people with emphasis on sites of historical interest?
I booked thru Expedia... one tip about tours tho... they get expensive and if you find (go by instincts) a local taxi driver he will take you to all the places of interest, and will wait for you whilst you take it in at your own pace and not charging around trying to keep up with the guide in the blistering heat.. and bring you back safely at a fraction of the cost.. and of course you will also meet all his family !!
