I am planning to go travelling once I have finished my course at university and once I have earned a few pennies to cover my trip.

My first port of call, I hope, will be Moscow where I hope to go to Bangkok on the Trans-Sib as it has always been a dream of min to do it.

Does anyone have any advice on how to go about doing it as cheap as possible, the best time of year to go, and which places are worth stopping in on the way. Also, I am a 21 year old female and might be travelling on my own, is this wise or foolish?

I wish I could say that money is no object but it is and my maximum spending money on that part of my trip is probably £800 ($1,000 ish).

Thanks very much confused
