I've heard about this scheme called WOOFA - working on organic farms, that provides worldwide opportunities to work on such farms in exchange for room and board. Met quite a few travellers in Canada and Europe who've raved about it. WOuld desperately like some more info but can't find woofa info/sites on the net. ANybody know anything about it?

Try http://www.wwoof.org for the international Willing Workers on Organic Farms. The site has links to the separate country programs and tons of great info. Two of my friends went through WWOOF and had great experiences.

Have Fun!!!
