FINALLY! I can go on my vacation! I found a flight deal to Beijing from Calgary for 960 round trip, so how could I pass that up!

I must say, I'm really excited. I applied for my chinese visa a couple days ago and pick it up this Thursday. Oh, and there is NO WAY my boss is going to cancel my vacation AGAIN!! I am going this time.

It's only 2 weeks, which I know is not enough, but it gives me a taste, gets me out of the country and out of cell phone reception! I can't take a day off with out my staff calling me 6 or 7 times on my cell phone.

Oh the freedom, the mini adventures.......

When are you going? I think I caught almost the same deal as you, but out of Atlanta, and I leave at the end of the month for two weeks.

Well if you happen to spot a BnA-patched pack, it's probably me. I'll be there starting April 1.

Hope you have a great time.

catchmeifyoucan- yes, you still need a visa. I'm going for two weeks myself. It's required along with your passport.

Plan ahead a little. Depends on where you go. I applied at the consulate here in Alberta and had it in 4 working days, but other places could take longer, especially if you have to do it through the mail.
