Hi, I would like to know if anybody knows any good, cheap hostel that allows pets to stay there. I have a cat and we are looking to go to Paris, Budapest, Barcelona,and Prague. Has anybody have experience where we could stay with our "baby"?

Perhaps staying at campsites instead of hostels would be a good solution for you?

And are you absolutely sure you want to take your cat travelling ??? Of course all cats - like all people - are different, but most cats I know have a tendency not to like being in moving vehicles (understatement), and lots of cats will run away home if they are taken away from it. But even if she doesn't run away, she probably wouldn't enjoy it either. So I would say, find someone to take care of your cat at home while you're away instead.

Cats like territories, as a rule, and when you travel, you take it out of its territory. If it gets out, the local dogs or cats might eat it. Someone might steal it.

If it likes being on a leash you might have a chance, IF it has the mentality of a dog, ie, it likes being around you more than prowling its territory.


and no, I I don't know if hostels accept cats or dogs. I seen so few of them in a hostel setting.
