I received this from my cousin today:

receive sales calls. You will be charged for these calls. You can also register your home phone number.

Call this number from your cell phone 888-382-1222 or register on-line at www.donotcall.gov

It is the national DO NOT CALL list. It only takes a minute of your time.

You can do three numbers on one request. Follow through all the way to the end to make it work."

I did my best to verify the news that they were going to release cell phones, but don't know how true that news is. However, my parents registered with Do Not Call last year and that stopped 99% of telemarketing calls. So it certainly seems worthwhile for any and all phone numbers.
