I just finished booking my flight to London! I leave October 13th and don't fly home again until April 13, 2009! I hadn't planned on a 6 month trip in the beginning, but there it is.
Here I come, UK, Ireland, Greece, Turkey and India!! I can't wait until my last day of work when I can leave all those miserable bastards behind and let them suffer! That's right, I'm going to be the perky kind of person that I hate, I'm going to laugh when they're being childish and stupid, I'm going to work ONLY 8 hrs a day and not more than that, and I'm going to leave at the end of September with my head held high, laughing my ass off because I WON!! yaaaaaaaaay! Travel plans are the best. Ooooh I cannot wait until a few months from now when you have your freak out. I'm not being sarcastic at all. Really. I'm jealous. I know that antici-ci-ci-ci-pation and I wish I had it right now. The packing, repacking, last minute dawning that you forgot your toothbrush, the weird calm the night before, the strange disconnected feel at the airport...bah.

Well I'm sure when my freak out starts to happen, I'll be turning to my fellow booties. I have 3 months to get ready before I go. Did I mention that I'm famous for spontaneous, last minute decisions?
Actually yesterday I asked my grocery supervisor ( a 50 something yr old man, who is more diva than anything else) a basic no brainer kind of question and he just about had a corinary! OMG it was hillarious! Think it's evil of me to look for little things to ask him to try and make him freak out?? I mean, my high school kids wouldn't have even blinked an eye... They've tortured me for over a year, the next three months are MINE! haha.
