So, we are taking one year from our lives to see it all right after we get married. My issue - I can't seem to figure out a logical itenary. Key elements, Carnivalle (so, we'll have to start in S. America), killiminjaro, great wall, safari, vicotria falls.

I think for Asia and Europe, I want to get to the continent and play it 100% by ear and be flexible and spontaneous.

I know there are lots of topics out there that mention routes they have taken, but if people could help with any sort or route - knowing that we want to start in S. America in February and then travel - east? west?

A SECOND QUESTIONS - if you have done this or reserched, what do you think about tickets. A part of me just wants to get to one location and play it 100% by ear and then book my next one way ticket. Is that a horrid idea?

South America down to BA or wherever you can get a decent ticket to South Africa, up through Africa to Europe, Europe to Asia, Asia to Oz/NZ, Oz/NZ back home.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking. Now, I need to decide about booking tickets or just traveling overland for a while and booking my tickets as I need them..
