Not from work or at home, not even the local Starbucks on a WiFi connection.

Out on the road and logging in from someplace like Timbuktu or Otterwater, Nova Scotia?

Then tell us here.

Well I am in a starbucks in Kuala Lumpur which I know is not what you were asking for but I thought I'd make people aware it is free in Malaysian Starbucks for wi-fi.

Gee Joe, you're really pushing the limit here, aren't you?

greetings from my room at the Verizon Hotel at the DFW airport, my 'home' for January. You don't even want to know what they charge per day for WiFi access-- this should be a crime...

In a little town called Sibu in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Currently in a cyber cafe -- on a half day's break before I head back to the field once more. Been in the jungle for a week and it's to be back in 'civilization' once more.

Gosh, I just had a hot water shower and a room to myself tonight.. and I feel like a million bucks!! Big Grin

the "Maesot Business Center" in Mae Sot, Thailand.

I'm on my own laptop, which is cool because the power seems to blink out every now and then...and my fellow web surfers lose all there work but me Smile

Logging in from my office... sounds boring till you realize that said office is in Nkozi, Uganda! (Then sounds boring again when you realize there is nothing to do here. Sleepy little university. But hey, next weekend I'll be seeing zebras, and last night I danced till dawn in Kampala!) Don't even try to find me on a map, haven't found one yet that lists Nkozi - but if you trace the line between Kampala and Masaka, I'm about at the point where the equator crosses the road. Actually, the equator passes through the compound where I live, and yes, the water DOES go straight down!

I logged yesterday from my dental surgery in Dublin when my patient was late. I dont' know if it's strange that I logged in from a dental clinic, or that I chose BNA to surf in my 15 minutes off. Hmm...
