From Chittagong, Bangladesh where an hour ago I bumped into fellow bootie Oswiu for the second time in this country where we are about the only travelers at the time.

From Bangkok, Thailand. Which, on the whole isn't that strange, except for the fact that it immediately follows Viaggero's entry explaining how we met in Chittagong earlier this afternoon.

(We caught our flight out about 1.5 hours after bumping into him Smile)

Sniberup, Sweden, a hamlet so small that Google maps can't find it, and an hour's walk from the nearest town (small enough that even the town just got a general store about a month ago). I'm currently WWOOFing in a tiny, tiny farm and loving it despite the almost total isolation.

Here's the spot, as near as I can estimate: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=sv&q=%C3%96straby,+H....02183,0.052872&z=14

Hurghada, Egypt

Foreign types with the hookah pipes say
Ay oh whey oh, ay oh whey oh
Walk like an Egyptian

Have my own little Eurotrash holiday sorted out, staying at a fancy hotel. Two years ago, some boots talked me out of a more ambitious (read 'uninspiring long') stay in Hurghada...so here I am for just 11 days.

The diving is nice, the food is above expectations, the weather is perfect, and I'm hoping to meet-up with Skyhiker in the next day or two. Big Grin

Yercaud, a small hill station near the town of Salem in Tamil Nadu, India. Sitting in a musty room, cold. Wish there was a fire place.

Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. It has nothing at all going for it. I'm trying to get to Tioman Island for some great snorkelling but I didn't allow for the school holidays - all the buses are 'fully booked' until Thurs next week!

Swiss International Airlines business class lounge (I've got schwag) at Geneva Airport. This is my second trip through Geneva this month, which doubles my life time visits here--it is just one of those cities that I pass through without ever knowing. On my way to London for a last-minute, 44-hour stay.
