Well, it is still early morning here, it is cold and raining outside, and if I am away from the forums for even a minute the Booties will wreak havoc and break things, not to mention the nekkid table-top dancing.

Besides, I miss you guys.

Why should I actually experience exotic Vietnam when I can be with you all?

Now I am in some hotel in Hanoi. It is mid-morning and I just got off an all-night train ride from Hue.

My room isn't ready, so I am in a holding pattern.

(And no, I am not going to log off until I get into my room and take a shower. Right now, I am going to sit here and keep an eye on you guys.)

Lima airport. Been travelling for 24 hours now, after a full day of work beforehand. Spent a few hours in NYC en route. Flight to Cuzco in 3... sleep is not in the forecast for quite a while.... Hardcore.

Gakona, Alaska; which is off the 'grid' but you can still drive here. Staying with old friends that use a battery bank for electric and have water delivered into their tank. But they have DSL! and I was able to snow machine all weekend in the sun at the base of the glorious mountains of St. Elias National Park which is always deserted, even in summer.

Stoo, are you still in MaeSot? What are you doing there? I love that town but wasnt able to visit this past december.

The completely surreal lobby of a Ramada in Chicago, not far from O'Hare.

But I love Chicago -- not strange at all. I think I want to move here. (Well, for the moment, anyway.)

Yay -- Chicago! Smile
