Caribou Coffee in Burnsville, Minn. Due to some fluke at Northwest Airlines, my flight actually landed three minutes early, so I have three hours to burn before I have to be at a plant to shoot some video. Figures the one time I schedule a huge buffer, assuming that NWA is going to make me late, they get it right.

Karimabad, in the Hunza Valley, North Pakistan. We've actually got electricity for the first time in about a week so I'm wasting my afternoon messing around on the net. Off to Peshawar in a few days for Taliban, guns and opium. Woohoo!!

From a wifi cafe in Tirana, Albania, which is run by US missionaries. There are biblical verses on the sugar packets...

However, there is also Mexican food on the menu and I think I can set aside my reservations and return for that....

Edit: The guilt has already set in. I am officially the worst traveler in the world for reasons too numerous to go into.

16th floor almost empty loft in south beach on an air mattress because I've sold or given away almost everything I own in a radical downsizing campaign to reduce my belongings to just what I can fit in a carry-on bag which I'll take with me at the end of this year to see the world.

This inflatable bed is really comfy! and this macbook pro makes me smile (just "switched" last month). Tonight I want to pack them both in my carry on bag. And Wifi.. I want to pack that too.

After two sleepless nights at Casa Kiwi, I have moved over to Black Sheep Hostel in Medellin, which is a bit more sane.

(Not that I don't appreciate all night long, extremely loud, drug-fueled parties, but I do need my sleep now and then.)

the ZJ Loussac public library, Anchorage AK.

And I think I might move here for a little while. Couple years?

Wow, I spent alot of hours in that library. They do really cool lectures and movies downstairs. That was before the internet made it to the Loussac so I never got to log in there.

I'm loggin in from my dad's house in Kehei, Maui. It's pretty frickin' fabulous. Except for the tomato red sunburn that covers half my body. Red Face

Gate E34 at Zürich Kloten Airport. A nice woman gave me a small plastic glass of champagne. We are boarding in a few minutes.

I am looking forward to the relative warmth of New York City in late October, which is down right balmy compared to the continuous cold, wet and gray torture we have been suffering with here for some time...

The funny thing is I started out heading to the Red Sox Parade. I guess I should have made a right hand turn somewhere.
Oh well, the BC - FSU game isn't until Sat night.
