Hi everyone,

I got still two months left till my departure deadline for a one-year RTW trip. However, Im stuck at the Travel Insurance selection.

My current insurance company (BUPA) is asking me 85 euros/month for a world wide global coverage. That adds up to almost 1200 dollars for the whole year. ACK!

I am a spanish citizen and Im not very confident about getting an insurance on the web (which costs more less 600 dollars for one-year, $500,000 package).

So I guess the question is: Is 600 dollars an OK price for a standard one-year international medical insurance?

Yes, $600 dollars for 1 year of insurance is a great rate... if I understand you correctly.

Of course, check out our BootsnAll Travel Insurance section. Out rates may be better, and our coverage kicks arse too. I just bought some for me, Chris , and Nick
