My husband Mike and I moved from NYC to Atenas, Costa Rica in October of 2006. We were looking for a new adventure to add to the others we have experienced these past few years with all of our travels.

Mike is a computer geek by trade and by hobby. As long as he has his laptop, a high speed connection and his underwear he is good to go. I am a former corporate paralegal looking to get more involved in travel writing and with my travel photography. Now that we live the "simple life" in CR, we can afford to travel more often and for longer periods of time.

As a matter of fact we are heading to Europe (France, Italy and Croatia) this summer for five weeks. We will be armed with laptops and cameras enabling us both to work while we travel.

I am more than happy to answer any questions regarding Costa Rica or NYC (or in connection with any other places we have been (including Italy, Bali, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Bora Bora . . . ) and I plan on posting a few questions myself in connection with our upcoming trip.

We love to eat (as our blog and photos indicate) and are always looking for great restaurants to get a taste of the local flavor.
