Palau and Truk, Micronesia in the north-western Pacific region, are tops for scuba diving.
Ko Tao, south-western tip of Thailand is popular (but not crowded), but could be a long haul for you if not in the Asian region. It's a cheaper option than Micronesia, pay in USD (painful for an Australian at the moment) All of these places have PADI instructors if you don't have a licence. |

I recomend The RED SEA Hurgada Eygpt.. Then again it depends on your certification and how far you want to travel... I also recomend St. Crox in the US British Islands, is always Lovly too.
